This year ADL will be the site of a school-wide read. Every member of the student body, faculty, and staff will be reading the book WONDER by R.J. Palacio.
The 45th annual basketball tournament is the oldest middle school tournament in Vermont and is one of the oldest in the nation!
On March 31, several ADL students had artwork on display at the State House in celebration of Youth Art Month. The theme for this year’s show was Albert Einstein’s quote: “Imagination Encircles the World.”

The Robotics Camp designed for students entering grades 7-9 will be hosting a camp during the week of June 22. Register by: April 30th, 2015. Space is limited.
Kathleen Legg has been selected to participate in the 2015 MIT Science and Engineering Program for Teachers (SEPT) this summer. Following a 26-year tradition of gathering exceptional teachers at the MIT campus, Kathleen has been invited to attend the week-long program starting on June 21.
On March 3rd, ADL hosted guest speaker Sam Drazin as part of our Year of Wonder! Precepts, or rules to live by, play a large part in the book Wonder. Part of Sam's presentation was to have our students create a precept of their own.
